After becoming a Vegan&nbspstrength coach&nbspMike Mahlers bench press excelled past 315lbs and he noticed that&nbsphe recovered much faster. In addition,&nbsphis body fat went down and&nbsphe put on ten pounds of lean muscle in a few months.

Today, several years later, he&nbspcontinues to follow a vegan diet and&nbsphe says his&nbsptraining continues to get better every year. Over the last two years he has&nbspdecided to move away from standard weightlifting exercises such as bench pressing and curling and focus more on functional strength training.
