The U.S. has built and maintained the backbone of the internet. Recently the U.N. tried to take control (without having any mandate to do so).
The UN will never get control of the U.S. and a good thing to because the first thing they’d look to do is tax it.
Taxes and buerocracy are one of the greatest burdens to entreprenuers in a lot of third world countries. This forces their businesses underground.
Because their businesses are informal its much harder to build a genuine asset that is saleable.
The UN’s internet tax plans would hurt entreprenuers in third world country who already have enough problems with their local buerocracies.
