Serena Williams win at the Australian Open was no surprise to me. I thought she looked in great shape from the outset. Shes a true champion, a superb athlete and has the winners mindset.
Its also no surprise that some in the Australian media have asked questions about her weight.
Everyday in the Australian newspapers you see a 100 pound blonde barely on the cusp of a healthy bmi.
More often than not some surgical enhancement is involved and the Barbie ideal is further elucidated.
When you compare Serena Williams to a 19 year old girl like Maria Sharapova she certainly has a more robust build.
But I think Serena William’s looks fabulous and shes at an optimal weight for her height.
Obviously she is fit and has prepared well. You don’t win the Australian Open otherwise.
Serena William’s is a fighter and was lucky enough to have the support of great parents who also fought hard to get them out of the tough neighbourhoods of Compton on to the world stage.

Serena has an AWESOME figure. Her body is ripped and that is why she is such a great athlete. I wouldn’t want to be standing on the receiving end of one of her serves, it would probably knock a limb off!

Serena easily weighs 180lbs. Because muscle is more dense than fat, she may weigh closer to 190lbs. If she wasn’t so tone, she would be considered chunky by most standards. Her legs and butt are the size of Brandon Jacobs from the New York Giants. He weighs 265lbs.
Serena is fabulous and doesnt need to lose weight and 185 190 195 thats normal in african american society, and the ppl here sayn she is fat, worry about urself, and many men love thicker women, and lets not forget national stats the typical american woman is a size 14, the over glorified marylyn monroe was a SIZE 14!
