Today while eating my marmite toast I read that the New Zealand Green Party co-leader Rod Donald protested against the chinese government as People’s Congress of China chairman Wu Bangguo arrived on the steps of the New Zealand Parliment.
Chinese Security guards tried to have Rod Donald removed apparently unware they were in a country that allows political freedom, freedom to protest, and freedom of speech.
The chinese security guards were also asked to move by police when they attempted to stand in front of Rod Donald so that Chairman Wu Banggua would be spared the indignity of having Rod Donald in his line of view.
Before I go on I would like to state unequivocally that I am:
- Pro Tibet
- Pro Taiwan
- Pro Taoism
- Pro Personal Responsibility
- Anti Chinese Government
- Anti Confucianism
- Anti Authoritarianism
- Anti Patriarchism
China is an inherently fascist country and has been for millennia. In times gone by it has been the most advanced technological civilization. Now it is set to become the most powerful country in the history of the world. Within the next 50 years if it continues at its current economic and political path this is the inevitetable result.
Right now governments all over the world are selling out human rights and freedoms to get a piece of China’s free trade pie. Only 30 years ago Singapore counted on the help of countries like Australia and New Zealand to succede from Malaysia, and now Singapores’s official policy is ‘One China’.
How quickly Singapore has forgotten where it came from in order to make some quick a few quick bucks over the next few years?
Whats worse is China can almost certainly count on Australian in New Zealand support on the one China policy as long as there is export dollars involved.
The freedom of Taiwan, Tibet, and the Chinese people that we sell out today will follow with our own freedom tomorrow as China becomes the most powerful country in the history of the world.
