Puritanism is a continuing trend in America as now many are complaining about Princes subtle phallic imagery during his half time Super Bowl concert.

Prince still puts on a great show with moves that belie his 48 years of age. Prince is no stranger to controversy but he’s a bit more subtle now days when you compare it to the controversy of songs such as ‘Darling Nikki’ and ‘Sister’ in the eighties.

Back then those songs sparked a debate on CNN’s Crossfire which moved Frank Zappa to say America was becoming a Fascist Theocracy.

Anyway this minor compared to Janet Jackson’s nipple ( which should have barely rated a mention anyway )
