Papoose is soon to release his debut major label album - The Nacirema Dream. Will he be the next superstar of Hip Hop?

Hip Hop has been on the decline in terms of sales over the last few years. The last huge selling album was Outkasts Love Below Speakerboxx which is one of the few albums in hip hop to go diamond status.

That album had a lot of originality to it and didnt have the blinged up obsession that has become the mainstay of hip hop in recent times.

Hip Hop basically became to materialistic and formula driven over the last few years.

Papoose will release his new album with a lot of backing from the streets as one of the most successful producers of his own mixtapes over the last few years.

His social commentary style is more Tupac than the bling 50 Cent style.

His voice sounds a lot like Jay-Z’s which makes for a potentially highly successful combination.
