Back in the day when you wanted to start a newspaper or a magazine you had to first of all secure content then you had to secure advertising sales. This often means hiring a team of sales reps to go out and peddle your advertising space.

Six months ago I was talking to a friend in the magazine business and she estimated it would cost a million dollars to start a magazine (if you wanted it to succeed)

Now you can instantly secure paying advertisers by partnering with Ad Networks like Google Adsense, Yahoo Ad Network And Chitika Minimalls.

And to set up your publishing system all you need to do is set a website with some optimized blogging software like Wordpress.

All of this can be done for a cost of less than $100 per year by somebody who knows what they are doing.

So why not just start pumping out mulitple niche blogs and create an Instant Media Empire. Well thats what Web Blogs Inc did in January 2004 and they just sold their blog empire for a cool $25,000,000 after being on track to recieve a million dollars in adsense revenue this year.

Sounds easy but remember you have to find a way (if its yourself you have to find the discipline and a system) to deliver quality content… and lots of it.
