Charlie Chan’s internet money making bonanza - While other people were out trying to be discovered or lining up for Australian Idol (Australian equivalent to American Idol), Aussie, Charlie Chan was quietly distributing her records online via digital download on her own web site.
I haven’t had time to look over her selling system or to listen to Charlie Chan’s music but here’s what I can tell you.
Charlie Chan uses a simple three step process which involves first of all collecting the prospects data.
1. Collect the prospects data.
2. Select and listen to any of Charlie Chan’s CD’s or soundtracks.
3. Buy any track for 99 cents.
I’m not sure how she gets traffic although I’m guessing a quality niche product and word of mouth play a big part. Due to her own success she has now launched Martian Music to help distribute other artists music.
She has a real simple web site design which has no web 2.0 features.
