Poverty can’t be blamed for the dispicable behavior of some of India’s citizens.

Other countries are just as poor but do not treat women, and girls like they are treated in India.

Thankfully the Indian government has taken messages and last week the first doctor was jailed for informing a women of her babie’s sex and subsequently offering to abort her female fetus.

Indian parents want boys because girls are seen as a financial burden due to the traditional dowry at paid to women’s families for a wedding.
